This year, Savard Architecte celebrates 15 years of building strongly together!
Savard Architecte was born from a deep passion for architecture and the desire to create projects that truly meet people’s needs. In 2011, Stéphanie Savard left her position at an architectural firm in Montreal to follow this passion and founded Savard Architecte… from the basement of her own home!
As with many entrepreneurs, the early days were marked by passion, hard work, and determination.
The first projects came in slowly. One person joined the company on a part-time basis, and the team gradually grew.
Over the years, Savard Architecte continued to grow. Projects multiplied and expertise developed. Each team member, with their experience and background, contributed to enriching this collective expertise.
After about five years of growth, an important milestone was reached: the construction of our current building.
It was in this space that Savard Architecte established its offices with the Duval Design Communication team, in what we now refer to as our small business centre, which also houses several office spaces.
But beyond projects and achievements, it is above all the people who have shaped Savard Architecte.
A company is never built alone. It grows thanks to the colleagues who work there, the collaborators who share the journey, and the clients who place their trust in us.
Over the years, many people have been part of the team. Some stayed for a long time, others moved on to other opportunities, but each one contributed to writing a part of the firm’s history.
Over the past fifteen years, we have also faced many challenges and trials. Like any company, we have gone through challenging times, unforeseen events, and situations that forced us to adapt.
Each time, we found the strength to continue.
Another important value for Savard Architecte is passing on knowledge. We strongly believe in the importance of giving back. That is why we regularly welcome interns and students, allowing them to discover the profession, visit construction sites, and understand how an architectural firm works. This transmission is part of our way to contribute to the next generation and the future of the profession.
We also believe in the importance of contributing to the community. Over the years, we have supported various causes and organizations, including L’étincelle communautaire de Châteauguay, the Héma-Québec Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, and the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation.
Today, Savard Architecte includes a passionate team of six people.
Together, we pursue the same goal: to design projects that are sustainable, people-oriented, and well integrated into their environment.
We wish to thank everyone who has contributed in any way to the development of Savard Architecte.
After fifteen years, one thing is clear: the firm’s true wealth lies in the human relationships built over time.
And the adventure continues… with the same passion, the same curiosity, and the same desire to continue building strongly together!
